Frances K. (nee-Gibbs) Curtin passed away on Sunday July 17, 2022 at St. Clare’s Hospital at Dover. She was 93.
She was born and raised in Jersey City. Frances is a longtime resident of Parsippany since 1957.
Frances was a loan officer for Chase Bank in Parsippany.
She was the oldest member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Lake Parsippany Volunteer Fire Department District 3 for over 60 years.
Frances is pre-deceased by her husband: John Harold who passed away on 12/3/2011; her son: Michael J. ; her brother: Robert Gibbs; and her grandson: Rob Reidmiller.
Survivors include her sons: John T. and his wife Patricia; James and Mary Joyce; her brother: John “Jack” Briody; her sister: Carol Oberdick; her seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and her seven great-great-grandchildren. Frances is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Liturgy of Christian burial 9:30am Thursday July 21, 2022 at St. Christopher R. C. Church 1050 Littleton Road Parsippany. Interment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany (973) 887-3235. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her memory to The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lake Parsippany Volunteer Fire Department District # 3 255 Halsey Road Parsippany.
