Virginia “Ginger” A. Morrissey, passed away on July 11, 2022 at her home. She was 67.

Ginger was born September 22nd 1954, in Manhattan NY to Ginny and Jack Morrissey.

She attended Kinnelon High School and graduated in 1972. After trying many different careers, Ginger finally found her passion in being a travel specialist. Not only did she arrange hundreds of trips for her loyal clients, but she got to travel all over the world herself. Ginger has been to 6 out of 7 of the continents, with some of her favorite spots being London, Ireland, and Viet Nam.

Ginger’s most prized possession was “Periwinkle Cottage”-her unique and treasured home in West Milford. In her free time, she could usually be found moving mulch, mowing the lawn, tending her gardens, and just enjoying the beautiful oasis she built for herself in her huge yard.

Ginger’s proudest and most important legacy is that she was the “cool aunt” and an incredible friend to so many people who relied on her always available listening ears.

She is predeceased by her parents: Ginny and Jack Morrisey & her brother Tom.

Ginger is survived by siblings: Jack (Dot), Anne (Billy), Tom’s better half Claudine, Bill (Nee), Carol & Joseph (Leillannie); nieces and nephews: Rob, Jodi, Libby, Chris, Ryan, Sam, Billy, Rachel, Gina, Kristie, Michael, John, Misti, Gabriel, Meghan, and Jenny, great nieces and nephews Declan, Ellie, Winston, Ginny, Waverly, Hannah, Riley, Liam, and Eben, and her beloved cat Boyfriend.
