Joseph Trifari, age 75, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center.
Joseph was born in Long Branch, N.J. He was raised in Paterson and lived in both Pine Brook and Towaco of Montville Twp. for the last 50 years.
He was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne of Army Paratroopers.
Joseph was the founder of Trifari Roofing, Side-All Builders, and the North Atlantic Financial Company of Clifton before retiring.
He was a long time member of both the Bergen County Hog Motorcycle Club and NRA. Joseph was also very active in coaching baseball and football youth leagues in Montville.
Joseph was an avid outdoorsman, spending his time fishing, hunting, and boating all over North America.
He was predeceased by his 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Sandra J. (nee-Stefkovich); his sons: Joseph J. and Michael J.; his brother, Frank Sr.; his sister, Marie Padula; and his 2 cherished grandchildren: Joseph and Domenic. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Rd, Parsippany, 973-887-3235 or www.partroyfuneralhome.com. His Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at St. Pius X RC Church, 24 Changebridge Rd., Montville. Entombment in the Chapel Mausoleum of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover, N.J. Donations may be made in his memory to the Pancreatic Cancer Association, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502.
