George Bain Jr. passed away on Sunday, June 10th 2018 at his home. He was 84.

George was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Michigan before moving to Parsippany in 1962.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1956 until being honorably discharged in 1958.

George owned and operated Bain Automotive Inc. in Succasunna for many years.

He was a member of St. Christopher R.C. Church in Parsippany and the Lake Hopatcong and Roxbury Rotary where he received the highest award an individual Rotarian can receive – the Paul Harris Fellow Award.

George was pre-deceased by his son, George III who passed away on July 11, 1986.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Madeline ‘Lynn’ (Sainato); his loving sons and daughter: James ‘Jim’ T. and his wife, Linda, Richard M. and his wife, Mandy & Frances Scully and her husband, Craig; his caring daughter-in-law, Jennifer Jan; & his dear sister, Dorothy Bain; George is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Trisha, Lindsay, Steven, Jennifer, Brian, Taylor, Ashley and Marc as well as his 5 treasured great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:00a.m. on Thursday, June 14th 2018 at St. Christopher R.C. Church. 1050 Littleton Road, Parsippany.
