Sabin J. Fallivene passed away on Monday, February 19th 2018 at his home in Rockaway Twp. He was 89 years old.

Born and raised in Newark, Sabin also lived in Bloomfield, Belleville and Parsippany for over 50 years before moving to Rockaway Twp in 2013. For the last 30 years he enjoyed spending time at his secondary residence in West Palm Beach and then in Stuart, FL.

Sabin served in the National Guard during the Korean Conflict before being honorably discharged on June 21, 1952.

Sabin was a Business Owner of Fallivene Agency Inc. located in West Caldwell which he co-founded in 1963 with his brother, Joseph Fallivene. As one of the few independent Real Estate and Insurance Agencies, the company currently continues through his sons, Glenn and Matthew and his grandson, John.

He was president of the Lake Hiawatha Lions Club and president of the Parsippany Hills Boosters.

Sabin was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph and Matteo; his sister, Lucille Ronca and his grandson, Christopher DeBiase.

Survivors include his wife, Yolanda (nee-Caraglia); his sons: Glenn & his wife Lynne of North Caldwell; Matthew & his wife Dee of Hanover Twp.; his daughter, Diane DeBiase & her husband Michael of Palm Beach Gardens FL; his sister Gloria Cannata of Hackettstown; and his 5 grandchildren: John, Michael, Christina, Angelica and Matthew; and his 4 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Liturgy Of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Virgil’s R.C. Church. 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Interment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Rd, Parsippany.
