Mary Macri passed away on February 19, 2018 at Morristown Medical Center. Mary was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Nicholas in 2009. Mary was 96 years old.
Mary was born June 29, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York to Frank and Anna Santostefano. She moved to Orange, New Jersey in 1957 and to Parsippany, New Jersey in 1961. She resided in Parsippany, New Jersey from 1961 until her death.
Mary was truly beloved by her family and devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved to cook, especially Italian food, and was great at doing so. She loved to keep a nice home and was always gracious to all guests. She learned to love the Airedale Terriers that her husband Nicholas loved that resided with them over the years. She was devoted to her husband Nicholas to whom she was married to from 1945 until his death in 2009.
Mary is survived by and will be sorely missed by her son Vincent and his wife Diane of Warren, New Jersey, her son Tony and his wife Frieda of Mendham, New Jersey, her son Nicholas and his wife Maryanne of Brick, New Jersey, her son Stephen of Los Angeles, California, her beloved grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas, Alicia and Adena, her sister Emily Kelty and her husband George of New York, and her beloved niece Josephine O’Halloran and her husband John and their son Sean of Ewing, New Jersey.
Mary always cared more about her family then she did herself and always worried that they were okay. May she rest in peace and again be with her beloved husband Nicholas. May she always be present in our hearts and souls.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service from 5:00 -8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 21st 2018 at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, New Jersey.
