Dolores Ann (nee-Scarpello) Kunz, Age 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

Dolores was born in Belleville. She grew up on Smith St. in Bloomfield and was a Bloomfield High School graduate before moving to Parsippany in 1989.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Walgreens in Bloomfield for 25 years before retiring. After retirement, Dolores continued to work as a stock person for Kohl’s in Morris Plains.

Dolores was an avid bingo player at St. Christopher’s and she loved to crochet. She donated the items she made to patients at oncology centers in the area, as well as other donations to local senior centers. Her favorite vacation spot was L.B.I. where she would spend two weeks every summer with her grandchildren. She also loved gardening.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Artie on 1/5/1993.

Survivors include her son, James ‘Jimmy’ and his wife Susan; her daughter, Marie Taylor and her fiancé, Bob Sylsbury; her six cherished grandchildren: Dana Greco and her husband, Mike, Cassie, Jennifer, and James Taylor, and Stevie and Rachael Kunz; and her two treasured great-grandsons: Hunter Greco and Gavin Duarte.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Christopher R.C. Church, 1050 Littleton Rd., Parsippany.
