Richard A. Ceruto passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville. He was 74 years old.

Richard was born in Cornwall, New York. He grew up in Paterson and lived in Stanhope for 20 years before moving to Parsippany in 2008.

He served in the United States Air Force before being honorably discharged.

Richard worked at Cutrupi & Co in Engelwood and also at Allstate Blasting Company as Explosive Specialist for over 40 years before retiring in 2009.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Marie A. (nee-Nowicki); his sisters: Barbara O’Donoghue, Adele Tierney and her husband, Jimmy, Marie Vasile and her husband, Dennis and Rene Lee and her husband, Bill; Richard is survived by his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his nephew, Erik Roemer and his niece, Joanne O’Donoghue.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Saint Christopher R.C. Church. 1050 Littleton Road, Parsippany. Cremation: Private.
