Frank M. Garafola passed away on Monday March 13, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 80.

Frank was born in Newark. He grew up in both Newark and Belleville before moving to Parsippany 52 years ago when he married his wife, Lillian.

Frank served his country proudly with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1954 before being honorably discharged in 1962.

Frank was a self employed attorney for over 30 years before retiring.

Frank was a classical pianist, who performed at Montclair State University, as well as numerous places along his travels, as he & his wife were avid travelers who visited almost every state and enjoyed traveling through Europe.

He was pre-deceased by his sister, Anita Scheder who passed away in 1988.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years: Lillian H. (nee-Halpern); his loving sister: JoAnn Leon of Edison; and his many dear nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:30a.m. on Thursday March 16, 2017 at Saint Christopher R.C. Church, 1050 Littleton Road, Parsippany. Interment to take place on Friday at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Wednesday Evening from 5:00-8:00pm. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany.
