Anna Rocco passed away on November 10, 2021, at CareOne at Valley in Westwood, NJ. She was 93.

Anna was born on November 24, 1927, in West Orange, NJ to Benjamin January and Ursolina Del Genio.

She spent most of her life dedicated to her family and friends and caring for many others as a registered nurse.

Anna graduated from St Mary’s School of Nursing, Orange NJ in 1948 and worked in the emergency room at St. Mary’s Hospital over the next 40 years.
She truly enjoyed life and will be missed by all of us who love her.

Anna is predeceased by her husband Gennaro “Jerry” A. Rocco and her son Benjamin Rocco who recently passed away on September 19, 2021.

Survivors include: her sons, James Rocco and his wife Lori, Michael Rocco and his wife Ann, her daughter Jeanne Rocco, her sister Angela Egidio, her grandchildren, Jerrold “Jerry” Rocco and his wife Carrie, Jennifer Rocco, Julia Rocco and her husband Adriano Taylor-Escribano, Johanna Rocco and her three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Vincent, and Emilio.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Liturgy of Christian Burial on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:30am at St. John Church, 94 Ridge Street, Orange, NJ 07050. Please arrive at the Funeral Home at 8:30am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany.
