Obituaries » Dharmesh Patel

Dharmesh “Mesh” Patel, of Clifton, New Jersey, died unexpectedly on April 25, 2021 at the age of 35. Dharmesh was walking in close vicinity of his residence when he became a victim of a hit and run crash.

Dharmesh was born on August 13, 1985, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. He is the son of Harshad and Ila Patel, and a brother to his younger sister, Mona Patel. He attended John Hersey High School and graduated with the class of 2003. He went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Finance from Northern Illinois University. Dharmesh met the love of his life, Jayna Patel in 2012. After their marriage on June 24, 2017, they resided in Clifton, New Jersey where they built a loving home for themselves and their 10-year-old doggie companion, Duprey. Dharmesh worked at JP Morgan Chase as a VP of Asset & Wealth Management Technology. He was known as being one of the most dedicated and intelligent team members in his department. However, his true accomplishment was being a devoted and loving husband to his wife Jayna and raising Duprey. He has a passion for food, a sports enthusiast, a traveler, a chef, a fashion trendsetter, and showed excitement towards so many other hobbies and interests.

Dharmesh is survived by his loving wife, Jayna; his parents, Harshad and Ila; his sister and brother-in-law, Mona and Nik Patel; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nita and Rajesh Patel; his best friend and doggie companion, Duprey; and a loving circle of extended family and friends.

While maintaining his rigorous role at his job, even at the age of 35, Dharmesh was a firm believer in always expanding his knowledge and to continue to learn. Over the last year, Dharmesh successfully achieved various in-demand I.T. certifications and his journey was far from over. He was a perfect definition of being an affluential over achiever. Dharmesh was never complacent, he was always thriving for more in his career to provide a life for his family that went well beyond their dreams.

Duty, decency, reliability, honor, dignity, respect is only a handful of assets that Dharmesh not only held in high esteem, but practiced every day during his time on this Earth.
