Walter Joseph Kamienski Sr. passed away on Wednesday April 7, 2021 at his home. He was 87.

He was born and raised in Whippany. Walter has lived in Montville for most of his life.

Walter served his country proudly during the Korean War with the United States Army from 1953 until being honorably discharged in 1961 with the rank of Corporal.

He was  a lineman for Jersey Central Power and Light in Boonton for 47 years before retiring.

Walter was a Past Commander for the American Legion Post 155 Whippanong and a member of The HillTop Sportsman Club in Montville.

Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years: Mary C. (nee-Creamer); his son: Walter Joseph Jr. and his wife Jennifer; his daughters: Aileen O’Hara and her husband Thomas; Dodi Yobs and her husband Rich; his grandchildren: Kristen Casey and her husband Mike; Andrew Yobs and his wife Virginia, Peter Yobs, Timothy Yobs, and Benjamin  Joseph Kamienski; his two great-grandchildren : Alaina & Mya Casey.
