Obituaries » Lynda M. (nee- Huyler) Palladino
Lynda Marie Palladino was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world suddenly on April 4, 2021 surrounded by family.
Born on July 20, 1964 to Marion Claire and the late William F. Huyler, she was raised in Morristown.
Although she wasn’t the oldest of their four children she swiftly commanded her post as the matriarch of the family and continued to be the glue that held them all together.
Lynda gave birth to her only child in 1981 and was later married to the love of her life Walter Palladino, together they raised their daughter Kristin in Parsippany.
Lynda was a proud mom and devoted her life to her daughter.
Despite a rigorous battle with cancer throughout the years she continued to pursue her passion for travel, baking, crafting, theatre, country music, bowling and poker. All while holding a position in the legal field at McElroy Deutsch in Morristown.
She found peace and solace being by the ocean. She was fortified by gathering together with family and friends, but her greatest joy in life was being a “Nana” to her two granddaughters Isla and Faye. She never missed an opportunity to shower them with love and was their greatest cheerleader.
Lynda had deep and profound relationships with all who loved her and we will continue to honor her legacy by living our lives to the fullest, as she did.
Lynda is predeceased by her father, William F. Huyler.
Survivors include: her beloved husband of 28 years Walter D. Palladino, their daughter, Kristin Fitzsimmons and her husband, Bobby, her mother Marion Hill, her husband Arthur, her brother William Huyler and his wife Ellen, her sisters, Roseanne Carter and Heather DiBiase and her husband Anthony, her cherished grandchildren, Isla and Faye, as well as many adored nieces and nephews: Billy, Hannah, Larry, Lydia and Joey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Christopher R.C. Church, 1050 Littleton Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054. (973)887-3235
