Lucy C. (nee-Toto) Grygorcewicz passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at home in Conway, SC where she and her husband had resided for over 2 years.
Lucy was born in Philadelphia in 1947 to Guistino and Lucy Toto who came to the USA in the early 1900’s.
Lucy graduated from Spalding College located in Kentucky with a BS in 1970. Lucy married Chester Grygorcewicz in 1971. They lived in Parsippany NJ for 43 years, she retired in 2018 from the Care Center for Felician Sisters in Lodi, NJ and moved to SC.
Lucy was a licensed Nursing Home Administrator for almost forty years serving in both large and small nursing facilities. She was a member of the Association of Licensed Nursing Home Administrators in NJ and served on their Board for a number of years. She was an avid needle pointer who was a lifelong member of the American Needlepoint Guild.
She is pre-deceased by her brothers: William & George Toto.
Survivors include her loving husband: Chester J.; her son: Michael from Chatham and her daughter: Christine from Australia.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 9:30a.m. Wednesday April 7, 2021 at Saint Ann R.C. Church, 781 Smith Road, Parsippany. Entombment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00pm. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany (973) 887-3235.
