Obituaries » Pamela D. Lyon

Pamela (Pam) Lyon was born on October 8, 1957 in Morristown, NJ. She was the first child born to Willie and Marjorie Lyon. Pam dedicated her life to Christ and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church until she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pam attended school in the Morristown school district and graduated in 1975. After graduating, Pam had long careers at Exxon, Verizon, and At-Home Medical while in the Morristown area. She moved to Charlotte, NC in 2006 where she started a career in the mortgage refinancing industry.

Pam was active in sports and singing and dance groups in her younger years; but what she loved most were holidays and gatherings with family and friends – she was the life of the party. Pam was a very caring and giving person. In these hard economic times, Pam took great pride in helping others remain in their homes by guiding them through the mortgage refinance process with the banks.

Pam’s daughter and grands were her world, her mother and father were her pride and joy, and she loved her brothers to no end.

With a kind soul and a contagious smile, she brought joy to many. When she was around, the room was filled with laughter and love.

On Tuesday March 2, 2021, she was called home. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Kendra, 4 grandchildren, (two grandsons Ta’Syii Moore, Keisaan Patterson, and two granddaughters Kei’Syiah and Kiyae Patterson, mother and father Marjorie and Willie Lyon, two bothers Darrel Lyon (Gina) and Tobin Lyon (Belinda), three nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
We will miss Pam dearly.
