Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather

Harold passed away after a short illness 3/1/2021.

Harold was born 7/8/1930 (90) and raised in East Orange, NJ. Son of Norma (Wood) and William Vaughan. Harold was employed by PSE&G for over 40 years. He married Roberta Stevens in 1950, and they raised their family in Lake Parsippany. Harold always made time for his children, and their families.

After Roberta’s passing, Harold married Constance and they shared over 20 great years enjoying their friends, roller skating, ballroom dancing and the NJ Theatre Organ Society. They attended Calvary Lutheran Church, Verona, NJ. Connie passed 1/2021, just a few weeks prior to Harold.

Harold enjoyed his friends and neighbors and was always willing to lend a hand. He lived at Lake Parsippany for over 60 years and was a friend to many. He liked “lake life” and was a member of the LPPOA and the Sail Club. He especially loved spending time with his family. Harold is survived by his beloved Children, Cathleen (Harold) Burke, Newton, NJ and Kenneth (Angela) Vaughan, Medford NJ.

He was also survived by step daughter Jill Rakus (Steve) North Dakota and step son Billy (Phillipsburg) and 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
