Giuseppina (nee- D’Amato) Giuliano passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. She was 89 years old.
Giuseppina was born in Italy on March 11, 1931. She was a dedicated mother of two daughters, in which she worked extremely hard cultivating the land her family owned in Italy. Giuseppina immigrated to America in 1970, in search of a better life for her family who she cherished so much.
She was a great cook and always made homemade meals from scratch. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, doing needlepoint and embroidery.
She was a generous person, who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Giuseppina will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Giuseppina is predeceased by her beloved husband, Vito, her father, Rocco D’Amato, and her mother, Bice Delle Donne.
She is survived by her daughters: Antonietta Ruta and her husband, Modestino, and Clara Grande and her husband, Antonio; her sisters, Antonietta and Ermina D’Amato; her grandchildren: Natale Grande, Teresa Grande, Gabriella & Michael Caro, Daniela and Michael Iannielli and Paola & Ryan Umali; and her great-grandchildren: Jack, Simon, Sophia, Olivia, Giuliana, Elliot, Ariana, Giuliana and Max.
Services are private under the direction of the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 300 Memphis, TN 38148.
