Dateline: Cedar Knolls

William L. Dannheimer passed away on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the Troy Hills Center in Parsippany. He was 79.

He was born and raised in Newark. William “Bill” lived in Parsippany for most of his life before moving to Cedar Knolls in 1992.

Bill served his country with the United States Army National Guard before being honorably discharged in 1964.

He was a police officer in Parsippany for 30 years and retired with the rank of Lieutenant.

Bill is pre-deceased by his mother Florence (née-Shannon), his step-father Wilfred, and his sister Florence “Cookie” Quinn.

Survivors include his wife: Bernadette (nee-Sinkonis); his daughters: Deborah Strumolo and her husband Louis; Linda Parisi and her husband Robert; and his grandson Louis Jr. “Li’l Louie.” Bill is also survived by Linda & Robert’s little buddies Spree & Mason.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday December 28, 2020 from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a funeral service at 6:30pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany (973) 887-3235.
