Walter (Butch) Stein passed away on December 16, 2020 at University Hospital after a short illness. He was 52.

Walter was born in Paterson and grew up in Parsippany. He graduated from Parsippany Hills HS in 1986. He was an Electrician at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Before that he was employed at Irvington general. He was also a member of local union 68.

He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed going on fishing trips with his friends from work. He loved spending time with his son Samuel. Walter, Juliet and their son Sam enjoyed spending time in Pa horseback riding and swimming among other things.

Walter is predeceased by his father Walter (Stein) and Mother Nellie (Aleman).

Survivors include his loving wife, Juliet, his teenage son, Samuel; his sister, Trina and her husband, Francis; his nephews: Matthew, Timothy, Daniel and his fiancée, Marykate and their son, great nephew, Emory; Also surviving in PA is his sister, Terri, her partner, Ron and their son, nephew, Devin. He also leaves behind his Aunts: Kathy and Patty whom he felt close to.
Walter is also survived by Mary Ann who has been like a mother to him and his sisters. They will all miss him deeply.

He visited his wife Juliet’s homeland in the Philippines and formed a close bond with her family whom they formed a mutual loving relationship.

Walter is survived by a large family on both his mother and father sides.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. (973) 887-3235 or visit Cremation: Private. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
