CAROL ANN JARMAN (PAGE)

Beloved Mother, Daughter, Wife and Sister

On a beautiful Indian summer evening, Wednesday, October 7th, 2020, Carol Ann Jarman left this earthly world. After a lengthy journey of illness, she passed peacefully in the presence of her beloved children at the Morristown Medical Center. She was 72.

Carol Ann was born in Manhattan, New York, on March 3rd, 1948. She moved in her youth to NJ, where she spent her life, first in Bergen, then Essex, and later Morris Counties. She lived for decades in Parsippany, NJ, moving more recently to Morristown, NJ, her final residence.

Carol attended Wood Ridge High School and went on to become a Certified Medical Assistant. Her most cherished position was with Dr. Charles Joseph in Morris Plains, NJ. She also worked at Kessler in Randolph, NJ. Her last position was at The Spa in Lake Hiawatha, NJ, a longtime family business. In her work career, Carol was a dedicated and compassionate presence with a stellar work ethic. She took pride in all she did.

Throughout her life, her faith walked beside her. She was a member of the Jacksonville Chapel in Lincoln Park, NJ, for over 20 years. As a member of their choir, she loved to sing and participate in their Cantatas. Her life was a testament to these things: Mother, Husband, Children, God, Church, Music and Coffee. Fragile, fiery, and devoted are words that describe her well. She loved Sinatra, never forgot anyone’s birthday, and likely visited every Dunkin’ Donuts in Morris County and beyond. She loved the Jersey Shore, and the summers spent there were among her favorite memories. She was a natural beauty. Who and what she loved, she loved with ferocity.

Her biggest influence in this life was her mother, Stella N. Page, who predeceased her earlier this year. She was also predeceased by her father, Kenneth F. Page, and her beloved husband, George H. “Skip” Jarman, who passed away in 2008.

She is survived by her children, Gregory M. Jarman of NYC, and Victoria R. Jarman of North Bergen, NJ, and her family. As well, she is survived by her sisters, Linda Klecak of Bloomingdale, NJ and Susan Christensen-Leone, of Parsippany, NJ, and their families. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth S. Page of Madison, NJ, and his family. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life and Memorial will be held at the home of Kenneth and Christie Page on Saturday, October 24th, 2020 from 1-4pm. The address is 8 Troy Court in Madison, NJ 07940. The gathering will be largely outdoors, and we lovingly require that all guests wear masks and abide by the safety precautions implemented. To love one another is to protect one another.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany or visit us at www.partroyfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to the Jacksonville Chapel, 264 Jacksonville Road, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035, (973)334-665, or a charity of your choice.
