Robert “Butch” G. Rynearson passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at his home. He was 94.

He was born & raised in Morristown. Robert lived in Cedar Knolls for the past 61 years.

Robert proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and was honorably discharged on 6/17/1946.

He was a member of the Carpenters Local 620 in Madison; the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Morristown, where he also served as State President & Local Chapter President. Robert was also a member of the VFW in Morris Plains & the American Legion Post 59.

But most importantly, he was a loving father, husband and grandfather. Butch could be found in his vegetable garden, his workshop or on a riverbank fishing for trout. Butch was always the life of the party. If he wasn’t telling a joke, he was on the dance floor showing off his moves with his beautiful wife, Flo.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Florence M. (nee-Vanderhoof) Rynearson; his sons: Robert Rynearson, Kent Rynearson & his wife Karen (nee-Moss) & Gregg Rynearson & his wife Michele (nee-Brown); his sister, Barbara Murphy.

Robert is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Patrick, Kelsey, Sydney, Evan, Tyler, Brooke & Austin.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service, Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, (973) 887-3235 or visit Cremation: Private. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 300 Memphis, TN 38148.
