Shawn Michael Adams passed away on Tuesday, August 18th 2020 at Community Hospital in Toms River. He was 41.

Shawn was born in Danville, Illinois and moved to New Jersey in 1979 before settling in Parsippany in 1985.

He was a Machinist for many years.

Shawn enjoyed the outdoors especially playing outdoor sports.

He was pre-deceased by his father, Albert Dennis Adams and his brothers: Albert Petro and Daniel Adams.

Survivors include his wife, Megan E. (nee-Dawson); his son, Alexander K.; his mother, Maureen Anne Monahan; & his maternal grandmother, Mary Funk; he is also survived by his many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, August 26th 2020 at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road Parsippany (973) 887-3235 or visit us at www.partroyfuneralhome.com. Interment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project 370 7th Avenue (Suite 1802) New York, NY 10001.

Following current Covid-19 guidelines, masks and social distancing are required. The family acknowledges and understands that many are still uncomfortable to attend public gatherings and will be unable to attend the visitation.
