My Tribute to Life

What I’d give if I could say hello again to yesterday
To yesterday when dreams were new
And life held plans of things to do
When hope was strong and in our hearts
Our dreams could never fall apart

But years go by, and hope grows dim
You search and search to find within
Your heart, your prayers, your body and soul
All that is left of life’s precious goal’s

Though it’s been a long struggle I’ll never
Regret the years that’s gone by and the friends
I have met, along with my loved
Ones who will always be dear
May God bless them and watch over
them all through the years
