Obituaries » Nicholas DiLizia

Nicholas DiLizia passed away on Sunday, December 22nd 2019 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 85.

Nicholas was born and raised in Fraine, Italy. He came to the United States in 1951 settling in Paterson. He lived in Lake Hopatcong and Boonton Township before moving to Parsippany 16 years ago.

Nicholas was a mason contractor for many years before retiring. He was a member of Local Chapter 2 of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftsman in Paterson.

You could always find Nicholas singing or whistling a tune as he endured long hours providing for his family. He found great joy being with his 3 grandchildren: Ella, Jade and Nicholas and his gran-dog, Coco.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Concetta (nee-Tilli); his loving children: Carlo and his wife, Nicole and Anna Marie Ippolito and her husband, Dan; & his cherished grandchildren: Ella, Jade and Nicholas; he is also survived by his many dear brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 8:30a.m. on Friday, December 27th 2019 at St. Christopher R.C. Church. 1050 Littleton Road, Parsippany. Entombment: Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany.
