Judith B. (nee-Felekey) Strout passed away Friday, September 20th 2019 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. She was 81.

She was born in Passaic and then lived in Elmwood Park for 21 years. Judy moved to Whippany where she lived for 44 years before moving to Wharton in 2016.

Judy was a loving and dedicated homemaker to her family. She also was a teacher at Immaculate Conception Grade School in Darlington and St. Ann’s Grade School in Fair Lawn, and did Clerical work for Crum & Foster at Convent Station.

Judy was a very active parishioner at Saint Ann R.C. Church where she was involved in several ministries including Hospitality, Eucharistic Ministers & the Lazarus Ministry.

Judy founded the Bergen County Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas D. (4/15/2013) and her son, Daniel J. (4/27/2003).
urvivors include her daughters: Nancy Zailo & Kathleen Strout; her sister & brother-in-law, Shirley & Andrew Acquaviva; her granddaughters, Jennifer Strout & Brooke Zailo; her great-grandchildren, Aiden & Brady; her niece, Lori and her nephews, Richard & Anthony.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25th 2019 at Saint Ann R.C. Church. 781 Smith Rd Parsippany. Interment: George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany.
