Obituaries » Frederick J. Plescia

Frederick J. Plescia passed away on Friday, July 5th 2019 at his home. He was 84.

Fred was born in Jersey City and grew up in West New York where he lived most of his life before moving to Parsippany in July of 2012.

He proudly served in the United States Navy from November 25, 1955 until being honorably discharged on October 5, 1957.

Fred was the General Manager of Consolidated Laundry in Jersey City for many years before retiring.

He was pre-deceased by his 3 dear sisters.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Frances R. (nee-Mesiti); his loving children: Joseph P. and his wife, Susan, Robert D. and his wife, Mayda and Gina Marie Rea and her husband, Paul and his cherished grandchildren: Michael, David, Paulie, Francesca, Vincenzo and Sofia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 8:30a.m. from the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. (973)887-3235 or visit www.partroyfuneralhome.com. With the Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 9:30a.m. at Saint Peter the Apostle R.C. Church. 179 Baldwin Road, Parsippany. Interment: George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours are Monday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. at the funeral home.
