David L. Dodd, 73, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Morristown Medical Center.

He was born in Orange and grew up in East Orange before moving to Boonton 41 years ago.

David proudly served in the Naval Air Force Reserves before being honorably discharged.

He worked for PSE&G in Clifton for over 48 years, retiring in 2016 as a Chief Operator.

David was a former Deacon at the Parsippany Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and the Antique Automobile Club of America.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Patricia A. (nee-Bridges); his sons: David L. Jr. and his wife Jennifer M. and Matthew J. and his wife Emily; his sisters: Christine and Glenn Anderson and Laurie Dodd and Keith Van Zile; and his four cherished grandchildren: David Dodd III, Ryan Dodd, Harry Dodd, and Simon Dodd.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. from Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Rd., Parsippany, 973-887-3235, or www.partroyfuneralhome.com. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Parsippany Presbyterian Church, 1675 Route 46 East, Parsippany. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
