Obituaries » Diane Cecala

Diane (nee-Sieben) Cecala passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her home. She was 79.

She was born and raised in Irvington where she lived for five years. Diane also lived in Morristown and Rockaway before moving to Whippany in 1967.

Diane was a dedicated homemaker who took care of her family and grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Ann R.C. Church in Parsippany and a member of several Sweet Adeline for over 25 years.

Diane is pre-deceased by her late husband, Francesco “Frank” Gerard. 8/19/2015

Survivors include her three sons; Paul Cecala and his husband Dan Nazzaro; Mike “Mickey” & and his partner Kathi Mihalko; and Andrew and his wife Jill; her daughter: Jacquie Carrafiello and her husband Matt; her sister: Edith Strelec; and her five grandchildren: Erica Cecala, Dane Glynn, Mia Cecala, Cody & Andre.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 9:30AM on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at St. Ann R.C Church 781 Smith Road, Parsippany. Interment: Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown.
