DATELINE: Port Orange, FL

Ralph Cuono, 76, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Morristown Medical Center.

He was born in Passaic. He was raised in East Rutherford and lived in Hanover Twp. and Tuckerton before moving to Port Orange, FL in October 2018.

Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 7/8/1960 until being honorably discharged on 7/7/1964.

He earned his BA in Banking from St. Elizabeth College in Morristown and went on to be the Vice President of Commercial Lending for Valley National Bank in Wayne for many years before retiring.

Ralph was a Mason at the East Rutherford Lodge. He was also an avid Frank Sinatra fan, a New York Yankees fan, and enjoyed playing the trumpet for many years. His greatest joys in life came from spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Noreen A. (nee-Dennis); his son, Steven R. and his wife Donna, his daughter, Laura E. Petro and her husband, Michael; his sister, Carolyn Goelz; and his four cherished grandchildren: Emily and Chloe Petro and John and James Cuono.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Rd., Parsippany, 973-887-3235 or www.partroyfuneralhome.com. Interment: Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
