Horace “Al” G. Bischoff passed away on Saturday May 11, 2019 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville. He was 93.
He was born and raised in Brooklyn. Horace lived in Audbon, NJ and Parsippany before moving to Rockaway 18 years ago.
Horace graduated from NJIT in Newark.
He served his country proudly with the United States Marines until being honorably discharged.
Horace was a mechanical engineer for Westing Electric in Kearny before retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Marine Corps League and the VFW post 10184 in Parsippany
Horace is pre-deceased by his late wife: Ann M. (nee-Hayes) who passed away on 5/28/1993 and his late daughter Denise Millspaugh.
Survivors include his sons: Robert J. and his wife Ute; Thomas G. and his wife Christine; his daughter; Louise J. Heisey and her husband Steve; his companion: Florence Cottone; his grandchildren: Benjamin Heisey and his wife Rachel; Sean Heisey and his wife Aura; Andrew Millspaugh; Aimee and Karl Bischoff; Kim, Josh And Brad; and his 8 great-grandchildren:
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Liturgy of Christian burial on 11:00am Thursday May 16, 2019 at St. Bernard’s R.C. Church 22 St. Bernards Road Wharton. Interment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany (973) 887-3235.
