Joseph E. Paganus, 81, of Whippany passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

He was born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. and lived in Bethpage, Long Island before coming to Whippany 40 years ago.

Joseph proudly served his county in the United Sates Navy from 3/19/1958 until being honorably discharged on 2/17/1960.

He received a B.S.M.E. degree from Cooper Union School of Engineering in 1968 after returning from his service in the Navy.

Joseph was the President of Pierbury Metering Systems and Owner of Excell Tool Co. in Stirling before retiring 17 years ago.

Joseph was the beloved husband of 60 years to Lillian (nee-Corti); his dear sons: Mark E., Thomas J., and Robert A. and his wife Dawn; and his two cherished grandchildren: Shawn Marie and Anthony.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, 973-887-3235 or www.partroyfuneralhome.com. His funeral will be on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann RC Church, 781 Smith Rd., Parsippany.
