Naomi Mahoney, 66, passed away on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 in her home.
Born in Osaka, Japan to Alexander and Chieko Schutze, Naomi moved to the United States as a baby. She then lived in the Bronx for most of her life before moving to Haskell, NJ in 1983 and Hendersonville, NC in 2018.
Naomi was a nurse, who lived life to the fullest. She filled her time with shopping, reading, and sewing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Naomi took great pride and happiness in being Nana not only to her granddaughters, but also to everyone who knew her.
Naomi was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Robert, who passed away on October 29th, 2017, and her caring sister, Yvonne Schutze.
Surviving are her loving daughter, Dawn Berg; cherished granddaughters, Jessie and Lexie; dear siblings, Charles Schutze, Nanette Larossi, Erik Schutze, and Marie Wauters; also nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, March 23rd 2019 from 1-4 p.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany, NJ. (973) 887-3235 or visit www.partroyfuneralhome.com. Cremation: Private.
