Mark Phillip Smiecinski “Smudge” passed away on Sunday, February 17th 2019 at his home in Cedar Knolls. He was 60.

Mark was born in Orange, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Hanover Township.

He was a HVAC Engineer for Albireo Energy for almost 20 years.

Mark was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #3401 in Morris Plains where he served as president for 12 years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Post #6904 in Hanover Twp.

Survivors include his daughters, Regis F. Smiecinski and Katherine S. Smiecinski; his brothers, Richard W. of Hackettstown & Paul C. and his wife, Kimberly of Lake Hopatcong; his sister, Susan Shraim and her husband, Ahmed of Bridgewater; & his 3 grandchildren: Evie, Bobby and Cliff; Mark is also survived by his 5 nieces, 1 nephew and many great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service at 11:00a.m. on Friday morning, February 22nd 2019 at St. Mary’s Cemetery on Legion Place in Whippany.
