Genevieve L. (nee-Sulewski) Manning passed away peacefully on Monday, February 11, 2019, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Princeton. She was 88.

Born in Newark, she grew up in the Ironbound Section, where she married the love of her life, Jim, and there they raised their sons. Genevieve lived in Sebastian, FL, for 16 years before moving to Princeton in 2009.

Genevieve was valedictorian of St. Cecilia High School, Kearny, and worked as a bookkeeper for City Fire Equipment in Newark. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and was much-loved and admired.

She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, James ‘Red.’

Survivors include her loving sons, Dr. James A. Jr. and his wife, Elena; John and his wife, Deborah; and cherished grandchildren, Jessica, James A. III, Rebecca, and Patrick, as well as her sister-in-law, Agnes Inserra, and many nieces & nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation and funeral service on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany (973) 887-3235 or visit Visitation is from 8:45 am-10:30 am followed by the funeral service at 10:30 am.
