Helen May Siracusano, age 89, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on January 10, 2019 in Montville.

Born in Kearny, NJ on January 13, 1929 to Edna A. (nee-Kennedy) and George John Moyle. Helen grew up in Haskell, graduating Butler High School in 1947. Soon after graduation, Helen moved to Kearny and worked in NYC for the New York Telephone Company.

Helen married the love of her life, Frank E. Siracusano on March 17, 1951 in the Trinity Episcopal Church in Kearny. The marriage was performed by the Reverend Frank J Coleman followed by a reception at her parent’s home in Kearny. Miss Evelyn McIninch of Haskell was her maid of honor and Jerry Doer of The Bronx was their best man. Ushers were her brother’s Milton and Robert Moyle. Helen and Frank honeymooned in Florida.

She lived and raised her family in Clifton from 1951-1997 and later also lived in Gibbsboro, Whippany, and Montville.

Helen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Boonton and was a former member of the Parsippany Presbyterian Church, Sommerdale Presbyterian Church, The First Presbyterian Church of Clifton and Christ Church of Pompton Lakes.

She worked as a cashier at the A&P in Clifton for several years and then worked as a Bus Aide for the Clifton Board of Education retiring after 20 1/2 years of service in 1997.

Helen was predeceased by her loving husband Frank E. Siracusano who passed away on July 24, 2013; her brothers Milton G. Moyle, Robert J. Moyle, and her sister Edna G. Horan (nee-Moyle).

Survivors include her daughter, Helen Carrara and husband Anthony of Clifton; her son, Frank E. Siracusano Jr. and wife, Jill of Mt. Laurel; her daughter, Susan Maynard and husband, Joseph of Parsippany; her cherished grandchildren: Anthony and Jennifer Carrara, Joseph and his wife Megan Maynard, Melissa and her husband Hunter Speake, and Scott Siracusano; and great-grandchildren: Raegan, Emma, and Joseph Maynard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. from Par-Troy Funeral Home, with a service at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Boonton, 513 Birch Street, Boonton. Interment: Vail Cemetery, Parsippany. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
