Philip Henry Harder passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 29th 2018 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pequannock. He was 88.

Philip was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. He came to New Jersey and settled in Wayne where he has lived for most of his life.

He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1951 until being honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in 1952.

Philip was a Transportation Analyst and Specialist for American Cyanamid for many years before retiring. He then went on to work for Ashland Chemical in Boonton for a few more years before officially retiring.

Philip was a member of the High Mountain Presbyterian Church in Franklin Lakes.

Survivors include his loving children: David and his wife, Karen, Kathy Kelly and her husband, Robert and Nancy Hayenhjelm and her husband, Daniel; his 7 cherished grandchildren and his 2 treasured great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, January 12th 2019 at the High Mountain Presbyterian Church. 730 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes.
