Born and raised in Newton, dad moved to Honesdale, PA in 1984 where he and his brother Joe owned and operated the Ponderosa Pines Campground until 1994. Dad then returned to Andover Twp. and most recently moved two years ago to be near me, his daughter, Marie in Whippany, NJ.

Dad was a graduate of Newton High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and National Guard. Back in the day, he enjoyed and was an avid bowler. He also enjoyed driving which became his lifetime passion. He started his bus driving career very early driving for such companies as James A. Smith, Real Transit, Vanderhoof, and Lakeland. Dad had also worked as a District Manager at the NJ Herald throughout his career. He most recently retired from Boonton Transport in the 1990’s but continued to drive a school bus for First Student. He was also a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Newton.

Dad was the son of the late Antonio P. and Maria A. (nee- Pasonasso) Biamonte. He was also
predeceased by his two brothers, Joseph Biamonte and Lewis Biamonte. He is survived by his loving daughter, Marie and her longtime companion, Paul (Monto) Yavorski; his sister, Mary Kozlowski and her husband, Stanley of the Paulinskill Lake section of Stillwater; his sister-in-law, Ada Biamonte of Honesdale, PA; sister-in-law, Gloria Biamonte of Andover Twp; and his former wife, Ruth of Whippany. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.

At dad’s request there will be no services. A private cremation is being arranged by Par Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road Parsippany (973) 887-3235 or visit www.partroyfuneralhome.com.
