Frank J. Skladany of Parsippany, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 29th at St. Clare’s Hospital, Denville, surrounded by his loving family. He was 88 years old.

Frank was born in Jersey City, and was a distinguished member of the US Air Force, serving in the Korean War. Frank was a loving husband and father, who enjoyed a successful career at Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, as a Mechanical Engineer, before retiring in 2002. His dream was to become an Air Force pilot and a Radio Control Operator. He also had a tremendous passion for polka music and dancing, and playing his harmonica for hours on end.

Frank was a long time member of St. Christopher’s Church in Parsippany, and a member of the St. Christopher/St. Ann’s Social Seniors

He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Margaret, his loving children, John and his wife, Cathy of Parsippany, Joseph of Parsippany, Michael and his wife, Elizabeth of Parsippany, Francis and his wife, Amy of Rockaway, and Stephen of Jersey City. He is also survived by his precious Grandchildren, Alexa, Ashley, Masen, Cameron and Avery, as well as his sister, Mary Lazorik and her family, and his brother Joseph Skladany and his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at St. Christopher’s R.C. Church, 1050 Littleton Rd., Parsippany. Internment: Holy Rood Cemetery, 61 Whippany Rd., Morristown.
