Eleanor K. (nee-Grish) Verdi passed away on Wednesday October 18, 2018 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. She was 69.

She was born in Newark and grew up Newark & Whippany. Eleanor spent most of her life in Whippany before moving to Milford 1 year ago.

Eleanor was a purchasing agent for Trukmann’s Repo Graphics for Cedar Knolls for many years before retiring.

Eleanor helped organize a playground for the Bee Meadow School, she also helped organize the youth league at Hanover Lanes in East Hanover.

Survivors include her loving husband: Daniel J.; her son: Christopher “Chris” & his wife Nicole; her daughter: Nicole Suk and her husband John; her brother: Russell Grish; her sisters: Rosalie Chan and her husband Stanley, and Kathy Meyer; and her two grandchildren: Dustin & Annaleigh.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service 10:30am Wednesday October 24, 2018 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Ave East Hanover. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road Parsippany 07054 (973) 887-3235.
