Mr. George Paul Piegaro, born on December 4, 1942 in Newark, New Jersey, to his late parents Anna (Roma) and Daniel Piegaro, passed away at age 75 with his wife by his side on October 13, 2018 in Milford, DE.

George also lived in Bloomfield and Parsippany for 57 years before moving to Delaware 3 months ago.

He attended Rutgers University. His most fondest and recent job was as the school crossing guard for All Saints Academy in Parsippany before retiring in 2016.

Survivors include his loving wife: Charlotte A. (nee-Reehill); his sons: Daniel and his wife Laurie; George P. Jr. and his wife Nadine; his daughter: Lucille Buttafuoco and her husband Dean; his sisters: Margaret Zampino & Sally Ferdinando and her husband Lou; and their five grandchildren: Sean, Melissa, Cory, Daniel Piegaro Jr., and David Piegaro. He also leaves behind his very precious kitty, Sophia Ticklepuss, along with numerous Nieces, Nephews, Grandnieces and Grandnephews.

George enjoyed blackjack, thoroughbreds, camping, fishing, roadtripping and lively discussions

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his funeral service 10:00am Friday October 19, 2018 at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany (973) 887-3235. The funeral service will be officiated by his cousin Pastor Jim Roma of Ohio. Interment: United Methodist Cemetery, Succasunna. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the funeral home.
